Jody is a wife, a mother to two adult children and owns two dogs who are very much part of her everyday life. She enjoys spending time outdoors and finds walking in nature, especially amongst trees or on the beach, to be deeply grounding and restorative.

From a young age, Jody felt a strong calling to care for others and always dreamed of becoming a midwife, a dream she was proud to fulfil. She trained as a midwife in the United Kingdom and continued practising after moving to Australia in 2008. Her work was guided by compassion, presence and a deep respect for the body’s natural wisdom.

An injury eventually brought this chapter of midwifery to an end, but Jody remained working within the health field, continuing her commitment to supporting others in meaningful ways.

Alongside her professional journey, Jody has always been drawn to the spiritual aspects of healing. She believes deeply in the power of touch, intention and gentle energy to support balance and wellbeing and she is committed to ongoing personal development and self-discovery.

Through Divine Flame Collective, Jody brings together her life experience, nurturing nature and spiritual awareness, offering spaces and creations infused with care, intention and calm.

Jody is the heart and hands behind Divine Flame, a sanctuary of calm, healing and intentional creation. As a midwife, she spent years supporting women and families through some of life’s most profound and vulnerable moments. This foundation of compassion, presence and holistic care continues to shape every part of her healing practice today.

Drawn toward deeper emotional and spiritual wellbeing, Jody expanded her path in 2024, beginning her training in Spiritual Life Coaching and Spiritual Energy Healing. In 2025, she completed Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Levels I & II, allowing her to guide clients through gentle, restorative energy work rooted in tradition and intuition.

Jody’s approach is nurturing, grounded and heart-led. She blends her clinical background with spiritual insight to create safe, soothing experiences that support balance, clarity and emotional peace.

Her belief is simple: healing works best when you feel held, understood and supported exactly where you are.

Alongside her healing sessions, Jody creates reiki infused, handcrafted candles, each one made with intention and care. These candles are designed to bring warmth, stillness and gentle energy into the spaces they’re placed, an extension of the same light she shares through her reiki work.

At Divine Flame, Jody’s mission is to help people reconnect with themselves, release what weighs them down and rediscover a sense of wellness and inner calm.

She welcomes every person with kindness, authenticity, and the soft glow of a healing flame.
